Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Let's Go

Hi,  Monday rolled around really quick.  The weekend just seemed to fly by.  I had a great weekend and I hope you did the same.

I am going to share two cards I made using the  Blue Knight Rubber Stamps "Let's Go".    This silhouette stamp set comes with four stamps.  There are two of the boy & girl that are larger stamps and another two that are the same, but are made into smaller stamps to give you options of how you want to use them.

I started out using an image called Path to the Barn.  I had this image laying on my craft table and it was already stamped and colored with Copic Markers.  I decided that the little boy from the Let's Go set would work perfectly if I stamped it in front of the path.  I used Ranger Archival ink to stamp my silhouette image.

This card was super easy to make.  I know the background looks like I spent a lot of time on it, but really and truly, I did not.  The pink background is from a 8X8 paper pad that I got at Hobby Lobby.  I could not have made a background that looked this good.  I used pierced chain dies to cut my mats.  I used Ranger Archival Ink to stamp my silhouette on to the paper.

I hope you all enjoyed my cards today.  Let me know what you think of them.    Have a great week.

  1. What a fabulous idea to put the boys image by the path to the Barn - such a natural scene! The girls image on the bike, floating on the pink BG reminded me of the movie, E.T., and the background and pierced layers are perfect for this card! Wonderful, innovative, and creative ways to use these stamp images!

  2. Your cards are so well done. Great scene card and wonderful silhouette images.

  3. Such a clever use of the images Shirley, love they are so different with the scene and the Super paper. Both clever cards.

  4. Beautiful cards, lovely images and wonderful colours, Kate x x

  5. How beautiful Shirley, like the scene and your beautiful coloring on the first card and I can not believe the background on the second card is patterned paper, I was sure you did the clouds, how lovely!

  6. The silhouette stamps on both of your cards look fabulous and what a marvellous scene on your first card x. I too thought you had 'made' the background on your second pretty card x.

  7. Hi Shirley

Fabulous backgrounds for those great silhouette stamps. I especially love the scene you have created on the first one.

    Love Jules xx

  8. Both cards are lovely. The first one scene is wonderfully done and the background on the pink one is super - even if it is only paper. Awesome job!

  9. What a FABulous scene you've made on your first card. LOve your colours too. The pink behind this second one is just perfect. LOve your design too.

  10. You are doing a fabulous job with all these silhouettes and that background you had made works terrific with the boy and his scooter, love the coloring. It's neat they have a girl one also and so love the dies to frame her!
