Who likes "Leftovers"?

I like "leftovers",  not only in food form, but in card making.  Everything I used on this card are leftover from another project.

Oh, boy, does this image ever take me back to my earlier days of stamping. I colored this image in 2008 with prisma pencils. The teeth were colored with a silver pen although they look white in this picture.  The background was made a few years ago when I was attempting a bouncing brayer technique.  It needed more color so I used the direct to paper technique to add turquoise using an ink pad.  I used the Hammered Embossing technique using a dotted embossing folder on the background, but it doesn't show real well.  If you look close you will see the dots from the dotted embossing folder.   My black card base and green card stock were in my scrap bag.

The inside sentment "Have a Freaky Tiki Birthday".

  3. What a super fun card. These elements go together so well, it is hard to believe they were all leftovers from different projects. It is so satisfying to get them all made into a fresh new project!

  8. Brilliant, love your humour as always and your colouring is awesome, even if it is a few years old, great background. I don't know if I could find something that good after so many years LOL.
