Fun in the Tree Swing

Hello Friends,  I am back with a couple more cards from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I love the peaceful feel of the is Tree Swing Stamp set.   How many of you had a tree swing when you were a child?  I remember having a tire swing.  Hmmmm, that might date me just a bit.  LOL. The stamps I am showcasing today are new and the name of the stamps is Tree Swing.

My first card was stamped using black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I used Catherine Pooler inks for the background.  I punched a small circle to create the sun.  Can you tell I really like a lot of bright colors?  Ha-ha.

The second card was made the same as the first one.  I just used different colors of markers.  I used a cloud template and turquoise ink to make the puffy clouds.

Thanks, so much, for stopping in today.

  1. We had tire swings on my grandparents' farm. Because there were 5 of us kids that would stay on the farm at the same time - Grandpa installed 5 different tire swings to stop the "it's my turn - not your turn" stuff! LOL! Your cards are beautiful and do remind me of "it's my turn - not your turn!" Thanks for sharing!

  6. Wonderful memories of days long gone, except in our minds! Great way to show how easy it is to switch up the look of a stamp by changing the colors in the scenery!! Love this whimsical stamp of days gone by!
