Let's Go Camping

Hi, everyone.  Happy you stopped by today to check out my blog post.  I am showcasing a new release stamp from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This one is called "Campsite".  A perfect image for someone that loves the outdoors and camping.

I stamped my image on my card stock using my Tonic stamp positioner.  I did restamp a couple of times to get a nice and clear print.  I used my Copic Markers to color the image.  The sky was made using my Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and a turquoise ink pad.  I added a creek on this card.  If you notice the second card, it does not have a creek.  I love how you can use the same stamp different ways.
This card was made basically the same as the first card.  I colored this image the way is  was intended and did not add the creek to it.  The sky was created using a sponge and Pan Pastels.

Check out the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps blog to see other cards of my team mates.  Blue Knight has a Facebook Fan Page that you might want to check out.

  3. That is a cute scene and reminds me of when I was a kid and some of us girls used to go camping. We did not have a tent but Dad let us borrow his pickup and we slept in the bed of the truck. But we did build our own campfire and cook meals. And no bears in our area but I do remember getting caught in a strong thunder storm. That made us scramble to head for higher ground as we camped by the river.
