Winter Tree With Fence-Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

This is my first card made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Winter Tree With Fence.  I started out by stamping the image on white card stock.  I used a circle punch to cut the image out.  I sponged clouds using the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil which can be found on Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I cut a layer for the cloud circle and attached it.  I used a piece of snowflake embossed white card stock and adhered ribbon to it and then added my circle with the stamped image.  I tied a bow to add to the top of the circle to make it look like a Christmas ornament.  I made a mat and attached everything to the white card base.

I stamped the Winter Tree with Fence and the verse from Bible Verses 1.    I colored the grass and fence with  Copic markers and sponged the clouds in the sky.  I made the mats and attached them to the card base to finish my card.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I hope you have a great week.

  1. Both beautiful cards but love the design you used on the first card
    Carol x

  2. You always create two very different cards with the same stamps but today is extra special Shirley. Both have peaceful and very pretty scenes and both have striking designs x.

  3. Always amazes me how you manage to create two completely different themed cards from the same stamp. This tree and fence stamp works beautifully for a Christmas theme and also for the serene landscape too.

  4. Two beautiful cards, a fabulous stamp and you have made it look so different on each card - I especially like the first card, it looks just like a Christmas Bauble.

  5. Those clouds are beautifully done and both cards are so pretty! I especially love that cute little bow you added to the first card - it just makes me smile :)

  6. I'm always amazed how you do so very different cards with the same stamp, they actually don't look like the same on either card. Both cards are a delight and fabulous, in so many different ways Shirley.

  7. Sheer genius making the scene into an ornament on the first card, Shirley!!! What a great Christmas card this will be!
Love the beautiful springtime green on the second card - I am loving the quote from Ps. 23 - these are both first class gorgeous!!

  8. These are stunning Shirley. The ornament is fabulous and the second one would be great framed in an area where it was seen often!

  9. Two gorgeous cards! I especially love the Christmas card - lovely and elegant!
