Love, Joy and Peace

Hello, Everyone.  Hope this finds you all well and rested from the weekend.  Sometimes weekends are not restful as one tries to get everything caught up that they were not able to do doing the week.  We spent Saturday cleaning the garage.  Today,  after church, we spent some time with family and a dear friend.

I am sharing a couple of cards that I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Love, Joy and Peace.     This set is from the new release last month.

For the first card, I stamped  the image on a card front that came from a boxed set from Hobby Lobby.  I cut it down to the size I actually I wanted  and matted it on black card stock.  I colored the leaves and the penguins with Copic Markers.   The rose was creating by stamping the rose on designer paper, I fussy cut it paper pieced on the image.  I made the remaining mats with dotted designer paper and white card stock.  One piece of the card stock was embossed with a dotted embossing folder.  Looks like I was into dots since the rose ended up dotted, too.  ~smile~

For the second card, I decided to make a mini long card.  I stamped the image on white card stock and colored it with my Copic Markers.  I used a cloud template and turquoise ink to create the clouds.    I cut the blue and black mats and adhered them to the white card base.   I thought the animals on this one was  adorable.

Thank you, for stopping by and have a great week

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Fireman

Hello, Friends.  Happy Monday, to you.  I hope this day is the start of a wonderful week for you.  The last few days have been a little cool so I am hoping for some warmer temps, but I am not sure that is going to happen just yet.

I am sharing a couple cards that I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Fireman, a new release set.  There are four silhouette stamps that comes in this package.  It is perfect for a firemen friend.

For my first card, I chose a pre-made card front where this beautiful background was already made for me.  There was a white space on the bottom of it and I sponged brown ink in that spot to make the ground for my fireman and fire truck.  The rest was easy peasy. I inked up my stamps with black archival ink and stamped them on the card front.  I added the matting and this card was done in no time, at all.

My second card was made using some designer paper that I have always liked and it is perfect for a masculine card.  I used black archival ink to stamp my fireman on the grid paper.  I stamped the fire department emblem on the back side of the same paper so it matched the rest of the designer paper. I added a piece of black ribbon and then  I fussy cut it and used foam dots to adhere it to the front of the fireman. I put my card together with the mats that I had cut, added the stars for the finishing touch to this card.

I certainly appreciate you all coming by and viewing my cards.  I will see you again soon.  Have a great week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Statue of Liberty

Hello Friends.   Hope you all had a great weekend and Easter.   The weather was gorgeous and it made for a great Easter Day.

Today I am showcasing cards from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps  new release using the Statue of Liberty set.

For the first card I used the skyline silhouette image.  I used the Heidi Pettie cloud template and Distress Inks to make the clouds.  I then stamped the skyline silhouette over the clouds.

For the second card, I stamped the silhouette image on designer paper.  I matted the image and used matching designer paper to complete the card.

I hope you liked the cards and thank you for stopping in to view my blog.  Have a wonderful week.

Building Beavers

Hello, Friends.  Hope you all had a great weekend and that you are doing well.

Today I am sharing cards that I made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Building Beavers stamp set.  This set comes with the beavers image and two sentiments.  This stamp set works well as a Birthday, Father's Day, Anniversary card, I also used it for a Valentine's Day card, it was in a earlier post around Valentine's Day.

The first card was made by stamping the beaver image on white card stock.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  The sky was made using turquoise ink and a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.

The second card was made by stamping the image and sentiment on designer paper.  I used the sentiment from the Blue Knight
Mini Greeting 2 stamp set.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  It is always nice to have you visit.  Have a great week.

Make a Wish

Hello, Friends.  I am amazed on how fast Monday rolls around each week.  I must be having lots of fun.  The saying is, "Time flies when you are having fun".   I am happy that our time switched to daylight savings time.  I like the extra hour of daylight and especially now that the temps are getting warmer.  Maybe I will get in a walk in the evening or visit with the neighbors a little.  Haven't seen much of them over the winter.

I am going to share a couple of cards that I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Make a Wish set.

My first card is a Pop Up that folds flat for mailing.  I was going to give you the dimensions of the card, but I am in the process of re-organizing my craft room and I cannot find the paper I wrote the measurements on, not to mention I boxed up some adhesives and I have no idea where that box got to.  I probably will not know where anything is for quite a while.    I stamped this cute image on white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I used my Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and distress inks to make the clouds.  The colors of the clouds remind me of the sky sometimes after a rain storm and it has green color.    I used some older dotted paper from Stampin' Up and I think the flower paper is was Daisy D and I do not know that Daisy's is still in business.  I had saved this paper forever and I thought it went well with this sweet image.

The second card was designed using a Dienamics Blue Print 18 die set.   The paper was some 12 in sheets that I cut into quarters.  I am not sure of the brand of paper it was.  I stamped the image on white card stock and colored it with Copic Makers.  The clouds were made with the cloud stencil, mentioned above, and SU tempting turquoise ink.    The sentiment is part of the Make A Wish stamp set and I stamped it using black ink on a banner die.  I punched a small star and placed it on the banner to give it some added interest.

Thank you, so much, for stopping in today.  It is always fun to see you have visited and to read your sweet comments.   Have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Daisies and Roses

Hello, Friends.   I hope you are all doing well and ready to start a brand new week.  I am starting my week sharing two cards I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Daisies and Roses.  I started by stamping the image on white card stock and coloring it with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the image and laid it aside.   I cut part of my card base away and added acetate between the two front pieces.  I added some dotted designer paper to the front of the card base.  I adhered the flowers to the card.  I used my stamp platform to to stamp the sentiment on the inside of my card so it would show through the acetate.   The Blue Knight sentiment I used is from the Bible Verse 2 Stamp set.

On my second card I stamped the image on ard stock, colored it with Copic Markers and fussy cut it.  Once again I laid it said while I prepared my card base.  I adhered turquoise card stock over the white card base, I used Spellbinders Divine Eloquence dies for the next two layers.  I adhered the flower image to the top die cut to complete my card.

As you can see by the last paragraph, blogger is still not my friend.  Blogger has a mind of it's own and will not let me correct the alignment.

Thank you, for stopping in today.  Your visits and comments are very appreciated.  Have a wonderful week.
